    Mandarin memiliki "measure word" seperti bahasa Indonesia ada istilah seorang anak, sepotong roti, secangkir teh, dan lain-lain.

     

    Grammar: measure word + kata benda

    Contoh:

    1. 一个【yīg�=seorang+孩子【h�izǐ=anak

    2. 一块【yīku�i=sepotong+面包【mi�nbāo=roti

    3.一杯【yībēi=secangkir+ 茶【ch�=teh

     

    Contoh penggunaan measure word dalam kalimat:

    Saya ingin minum secangkir teh.

    我【wǒ=saya+想【xiǎng=ingin+喝【hē=minum+ 一杯茶【yībēi ch�=secangkir teh
